June 6-9, 2009 to tell us about the Sunset Apollos Institute and all that their programs offer in the areas of Leadership and Marketplace Evangelism.

 

Why the name “Apollos Institute”?

Apollos is the name of a Jewish Christian from Alexandria who appears in the narrative of Acts (18:24-19:1) and in 1 Corinthians. According to Acts, he possessed great skills in Greek rhetoric and had already learned much about Jesus when he arrived in Ephesus and began speaking in the synagogue. His abilities soon brought him to the attention of the Christians, Priscilla and Aquila, who gave him further instruction in the Christian faith. The Apollos Institute is where individuals who know Jesus, who are eloquent in the Word of God, but who need further instruction, can come and receive additional training.

Pre-Camp Activities:

Glen Gray is the Dean of Sunset Apollos Institute and will be our keynote speaker at Bible Camp as well as our guest for the following activities preceding camp:

June 6th Sat 10 AM to Noon and 1 PM to 3 PM Seminar on “Why God Has Called You Into The Body” (Part I) [SIBI classroom]

June 7th @ the Sunday AM Bible Study 9:30 to 10:30 AM You are invited to a Special Presentation by bro. Gray to introduce Singaporeans to the Sunset Apollos Institute programs. *

June 8th and 9th Mon & Tues 10 AM to Noon and 1 PM to 3 PM Seminar on “Why God Has Called You Into The Body” (Part II & III) [SIBI classroom]

June 10th to 13th Annual Church Camp at Guoman Port Dickson Resort
